CalcNova ("we," "our," or "us") operates the website https://calcnova.co/. This page explains our practices regarding data — or more accurately, our deliberate choice to collect as little as possible.
We built CalcNova on a simple principle: your data is yours. Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter into a calculator is transmitted to our servers, because we don't have any servers processing your inputs.
We do not collect, transmit, or store:
Some tools save preferences locally in your browser's localStorage to improve your experience. Examples include:
This data lives only in your browser and is never sent anywhere. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings (Settings → Privacy → Clear site data).
We may use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics (such as aggregated page view counts via GitHub's built-in statistics) to understand which tools are most useful. This does not involve tracking individuals and does not use cookies.
If third-party analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated and tools will be selected based on their minimal-data commitment.
CalcNova does not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or session management. We do not set any first-party or third-party tracking cookies.
Google Fonts (used for typography) may set a cookie on their servers when loading font files. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can self-host the fonts or use a browser extension to block them if desired.
CalcNova may contain links to external websites (such as Ko-fi for voluntary donations). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before interacting with them.
CalcNova does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). Since we collect no personal information at all, there is no data about any user — including children — on our systems.
CalcNova is accessible worldwide. Since all tool data is processed in your browser and nothing is transmitted to external servers by our tools, there is no cross-border data transfer associated with using the calculators. If you use third-party services linked from our site (e.g., Ko-fi), their respective data transfer practices apply.
If we ever change how we handle data, we will update this page with a new "Last updated" date. We will not retroactively change practices in a way that collects more data without prominent notice.
We encourage you to review this page periodically, though we don't expect it to change often — our commitment to minimal data collection is a core value, not an afterthought.
If you have questions or concerns about this privacy policy, please reach out. We're happy to explain anything further.
